Public bug reported: Hi,
I am using kernel 6.8 from the hwe package on Jammy. In this case it is always going to freeze: 1. Open the LID and power on. 2. Close the LID again immediately while its booting (using the external monitors attached to an USB-C dock via MST) 3. Will unfortunately automatically suspend now because of LID monitoring changes of systemd-logind (but that's another issue) 4. If I am now waking it up again by opening the LID its going to freeze and I need a hard cold reset with the power key to revive it. ** Affects: linux-oem-6.8 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: ""journalctl -b -1" output of 6.8.0-40-generic" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2078416/+attachment/5810740/+files/crash.txt.gz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2078416 Title: AMD Rembrandt - freeze on wakeup from suspend with 6.8.0-40-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-oem-6.8/+bug/2078416/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
