It looks like the mutter-x11-frames crash is originating from: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnvidia-vksc-core.so.560.35.03 (https://errors.ubuntu.com/oops/4abeeb92-623e-11ef-bcef-fa163e171f02)
which is not part of Ubuntu (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-560). In fact practically all the segfaults from mutter-x11-frames we're seeing globally are coming from Nvidia driver 560: https://errors.ubuntu.com/?release=Ubuntu%2024.04&package=mutter&period=week So it's a serious problem, but not originating from Ubuntu binaries. Please try uninstalling the 560 driver and then use the 'Additional Drivers' app to install a supported driver because it looks like they won't have the same issues. ** Package changed: mutter (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** No longer affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) ** Summary changed: - [nvidia] Screen freeze on Wayland + [nvidia] Screen freeze on Wayland using Nvidia 560 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2077810 Title: [nvidia] Screen freeze on Wayland using Nvidia 560 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2077810/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
