Public bug reported:
Today the screen resolution jumped - on its own while working - to some small number, while still claiming to be the usual 1920X1080. This makes the screen unusable. Also there is a very slow video reponse. External monitor also wrong resolution. Can't use the device! Guess: machine jumped from WAYLAND to X11 by some unlucky key combination I typed. --------------------- machine: Dell XPS 13 OS: KUBUNTU 22.04 KDE Plasma 5.24.7 KDE framework 5.92.0 QT 5.15.3 Kernel 5.15.0-119-generic(64 bit) graphics platform X11 --- graphics processor Mesa Intel Xe graphics ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "SH3.jpg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2077825/+attachment/5809149/+files/SH3.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2077825 Title: wrong screen resolution To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2077825/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
