Thanks Douglas, I'm not sure if the download link did something weird,
but when I tried to download your link, it wasn't a proper core dump.

# file _usr_bin_clamscan.1000.crash
_usr_bin_clamscan.1000.crash: ASCII text, with very long lines (43521)

Which means I can't run it through a debugger. Could you make sure it is
a crash file?

Was trying to read the coredump with the following command:
$ gdb clamscan ./_usr_bin_clamscan.1000.crash
<cut here>
Reading symbols from 
/root/.cache/debuginfod_client/d0f8362410b14eecd2eb160983e5293c46e8b436/debuginfo...
"/root/_usr_bin_clamscan.1000.crash" is not a core dump: file format not 
recognized
