I too have been having this problem and even while I was diagnosing the cause today, I received a kernel update to Linux version 5.15.0-119-generic on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS, but the problem still remained.
I can see Phillip Cox has posted bug will be fixed in a newer kernel, but before being aware of this I came up with a simple work around, just incase anyone is interested which doesn't require reverting back to a previous kernel which can be found AskUbuntu. https://askubuntu.com/questions/1523090/failed-to-put-system-to-sleep- freezing-fails-due-to-nfs-kernel-thread-failing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2076576 Title: 5.15.0-118: NFS causes suspend to fail To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2076576/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
