Public bug reported:

It is a very nice feature that packages in gnome-app-install displays
the Ubuntu derivat that best fits to the selected package.

But normally that is the wrong way: I search for an application (e.g. an
IDE for C/C++) that fits to my installed Ubuntu derivat. And not the
other way round (first search for an application and then install the
Ubuntu derivat that best fits to that application). So normally I don't
want to see all those KDE applications because I only use GNOME. A
filter that only shows the applications that fits best to my Ubuntu
derivat would help finding the best matching application.

** Affects: gnome-app-install (Ubuntu)

         Status: Unconfirmed
