Hi Daniel, I did apply the fix for the ghost screen and it worked. Anyway, the main issue is still there. After the black screen, the ubuntu desktop is mirrored instead of extended. There is no way to restore the extended mode, other than detaching and reattaching the hdmi cable of the second monitor. But when I do it, the desktop crashes and forces me to log-out.
I am very surprised to see that no Ubuntu desktop that I tried until now is able to stay on for weeks without exhibiting this issue. I tried two different motherboard (Intel and AMD) with different GPUs configuration (embedded in the motherboard or external NVidia cards). At the very end, Ubuntu shell **always** crashes after less than a week. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2075525 Title: After screen blank, the displays configuration gets lost To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/2075525/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
