Workaround: 1. change the driver in the Driver Manager to another driver, in my case it was from Nvidia 353 to Open Source. 2. restart 3. switch back to the recommended Nvidia driver 4. disconnect all monitors (cables) 5. restart
And it works again as usual. I then had to switch from Intel processor to Nivida performance mode. The important step is step 4: Disconnect everything once and reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2076031 Title: No external monitors are recognized To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2076031/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
