I've tried this with the Hardy Heron Alpha2 LiveCD and the remote control is detected (a message is shown in dmesg) and the number keys work.
I also did a 'cat /dev/input/event6' (the input that was listed in dmesg for the remote) and this produced output when keys on the remote were pressed. I haven't been able to test it with lirc. Is there any possibility of this patch being included in an update to 2.6.22 (Gutsy)? It would be nice to be able to use the remote for the next few months before Hardy is released. -- Leadtek Winfast DTV1000T Remote Control https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/151561 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
