Some additional context:

A token may have entitlements coming from multiple sources (e.g., shop
subscriptions and trials, direct sales, etc).

If there are multiple sources for a token, we cannot pinpoint exactly if
a single machines would be impacted by not renewing a portion of the
entitlement sources behind a token.

We could in theory include a token-wide warning, but it would be an
approximation at best. For example, if you had a token with 10 machines
attached, and 4 of those were bound to expire, the warning would show up
in all 10 machines.

For now, we are considering toning that message down to a more generic
version: "Your current subscription term will end on .... If you haven't
renewed it yet, please go to ...".

As for the subject of the email, I was informed our team has actually
been discussing this in the past few weeks, and improvements should be
expected in the future.
