@meireli, Sorry for the amount of info. I tried to be concise, but perhaps I was too concise.
The 6.5 based kernels for mantic (23.01) and jammy (22.04) are at the end of their support. The 1024 jammy 6.5 kernel contains only security updates. This is the changelog of the 22.04 6.5 kernel: https://git.launchpad.net/~canonical-kernel/ubuntu/+source/linux-aws/+git/jammy/tree/debian.aws-6.5/changelog?h=aws-6.5-next The 1024 entry is at the top of the file. It only contains security fixes. This will be the last 6.5 kernel for jammy. The images using 6.5 will be moved to 6.8 during the regular kernel updating process. As for not needing this in the 24.04 6.8 kernel, I checked the code, and the fix wasn't applied until 6.11, so even through the error isn't reproducable the issue exists in the 6.8 kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2073695 Title: Deadlock occurs while suspending md raid To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2073695/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
