Attempting comment #872 for me leads to
./audiofix.sh: 6: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
in my shell (/bin/bash). If I comment out the usage of clear() then line
27 also uses ( in a way I don't know how to avoid:
i2c_addr=(0x3f 0x38)
