I'm getting similar random crashes (also while using yakuake) on a Macbook with 
Intel 945.
I'm not sure if that's the same bug or something else. It's a fresh 
installation,
I didn't have this problem when I was running kUbuntu 7.10 (+yakuake) on the 
same hardware.
