I'm on 22.04 and since the upgrade to 5.15.0-107 this bug has appeared on my laptop. I updated to 113 but that did not help:
$ uname -a Linux lagrange 5.15.0-113-generic #123-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jun 10 08:16:17 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I can boot by going into recovery mode and then resuming boot from there.
