I'm on a newly installed ubuntu 24.04 (assuming Wayland) and gnome-
shell, and also have this issue with at least firefox and open office
(don't run most of my other apps fullscreen).

`gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface scaling-factor 1` doesn't
seem to help.

It also seems to me that some reports here, e.g. by Jens Glathe
(glathe), seem to be a different issue where the whole desktop gets
rendered in the wrong size/resolution/position after suspend & resume.
