It affect me as well.

I have Intel(R) UHD Graphics (CML GT2) and using i915 driver.


Added below lines to grub:
i915.enable_dc=0 intel_idle.max_cstate=2

No luck.
Then changed it to:
i915.enable_dc=0 intel_idle.max_cstate=4
as per some suggestions

Also no luck.

I experienced the issue a few years back. Can't remember the Ubuntu
version then. After adding above lines it was OK. Then after a kernel
update it was all fine even without adding the above lines.

Now, after upgrading to 24.04 the problem came back.

It happens randomly for a coupe of seconds every an hour or so.
