While the main function of evolution is sending emails, actually being able to categorize contacts is also a major feature... No one with a big contact list would be very happy with this bug... Could this get a bit more attention? At least it should have bigger importance! Also, the gnome bug associated to this bug report seems to be related to LDAP, not to categories... In my case, *only* have one local address book.
