With no response to comment #2 I'm moving this to the gnome-shell package which will at least bring this bug report to the attention of Ubuntu's Desktop Team even if it is not the correct package. Please now execute the following command only once, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal: apport-collect 2065827 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu- bug' and the name of the package affected.
