Public bug reported:

I am using Ubuntu 24.10. Randomly, possibly associated with the position
of the mouse on the screen (although it's hard to tell), the screen will
flash a few times, not white flashing, but blank. I cannot replicate it,
although if I don't move my mouse it seems to keep going for a bit
longer maybe? This was an issue on 24.04 as well when I tried that,
however it was not a noticeable issue on 23.10 as far as I know, which
is what I was using before. I assume this is some kind of driver issue.
Hopefully the bug report shows what CPU and iGPU I have, but if not it's
the i5-6200U with Intel HD Graphics 520. I'm not sure if you guys
stopped supporting this one? This computer is from 2016 after all and
the processor has since been discontinued. The issue seems to be worse
when I'm using my browser, but it's inconsistent and hard to tell what's
causing it. I would love to get this fixed, because it's really
distracting.
