Looking around, I found an upstream (Debian) bug report related to this: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1065926
Debian hasn't switched their default Python to 3.12 yet, but it looks like that's in work, and so this issue will appear there. I'll email the Debian bug, letting them know about the issue here. Jonas, you're right that moving to a newer usptream is probably the best. Unfortunately I don't know the policies here: Maybe the MOTU folks will want Debian to move first? ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #1065926 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1065926 ** Also affects: debbugs via https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1065926 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** No longer affects: debbugs -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2061929 Title: Python docker package does not import, crashes due to urllib3 upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-docker/+bug/2061929/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
