Public bug reported: In Nautilus, browse to another hard drive present in your computer (it gets auto mounted during this process and you will see the files\folders on it displayed). Then click on "Add to Bookmarks" - The drive appears in your sidebar and you can click on it in the sidebar to view files\folders - this is fully correct operation so far....
I've noticed the fault before but this is how to force it to happen - Click on the Other Locations" area, and then click on the unmount icon for the drive that you previously bookmarked. Now if you click on the bookmarked drive the error "Oops! Something went wrong." "Unable to find ".....". What the system should do is re-auto mount the bookmarked drive. The workaround is to click on the drive via the "Other Locations" area again to get it re-mounted and then the bookmarked link works again. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2062541 Title: Bookedmarked Drive not automatically re-mounted To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/2062541/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
