Public bug reported: Manually and built-In Gnome shell extensions are disabled at every startup. I think this may be related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1236749 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-session/+bug/1385572 but these issues were closed some time ago.
I have downloaded REMnux VirtualBox OVA with SHA256 `412689aabf7d203c3fb46d141704671a1dbf858b13b404f0bbd0096f6d6bd7b9` based on Ubuntu 20.04.4 and performed the following steps: - Start the VM and run in a terminal `remnux upgrade`. - Open Firefox, install GNOME Shell integration, install Dash to Panel: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1160/dash-to-panel - Enable the Dash to Panel and Applications Menu extensions - Restart the computer and both extensions are disabled I use debian and these two extension in my host and they are still enabled after reboot, so I assume this is an Ubuntu/gnome bug. Please also let me know if you need more information (I can provide more logs if you explain me how to exactly get them) or If I should report the issue somewhere else. ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2060946 Title: Gnome shell extensions disabled at every startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2060946/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
