I just got the error in the subject after running >50 package updates with Discover on Kubuntu, "Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS".
I thought I was on nvidia-525 drivers (535 never worked for me), but they seem to be missing from "Software Sources" now, which instead have "nvidia-driver-535 (proprietary)" selected.
