I can confirm that the sagemath package in mantic-proposed has fixed the
bug for me.
Test done according to the testplan:
$ sage

sage: factor(A.charpoly())
x^2 * (x^2 - 30*x - 80)
Test result: the errors with sagemath has been fixed.
