Just packaging a new version seems difficult because the pipeline seems
complex (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=958853), so I
took a different approach and re-packaged the binary distribution.

I don't think invalidating this bug is the correct way to react. I
think, this is a legitimate issue, as the old version is nearly unusable
(because of this: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1010900)
