Sorry for my last long post, The idea is to leave the local script file as its shipped by default, and only add the mdadm script file to /usr/share/initramfs-tools/local- top directory.
Finally don't forget to rebuilt the boot image issuing "sudo update- initramfs -u" as suggested by Plnt.
