Public bug reported: Binary package hint: displayconfig-gtk I obtain the crash by doing nothing. Just open Screen and Graphics, see there is nothing (no graphic card list) also no monitors detected - just empty boxes), and close Screen and Graphics. now because I can't change my resolution to 1152x864 from xorg.conf nor from gconf and also not from Screen Resolution (because there the offer is 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x1024 - not what I need), my question is what is the secret key to re-enable 1152x864 resolution (which was perfect in last 3 ubuntu releases). where I have to look to change my resolution ProblemType: Crash Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Dec 31 11:23:59 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/displayconfig-gtk InterpreterPath: /usr/bin/python2.5 Package: displayconfig-gtk 0.3.7 PackageArchitecture: all ProcCmdline: /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/displayconfig-gtk ProcCwd: /home/sorin ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin LANG=C SHELL=/bin/bash PythonArgs: ['/usr/bin/displayconfig-gtk'] SourcePackage: displayconfig-gtk Title: displayconfig-gtk crashed with AttributeError in isXorgConfigChanged() Uname: Linux sorin 2.6.24-2-generic #1 SMP Thu Dec 20 17:36:12 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux UserGroups: ** Affects: displayconfig-gtk (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-crash -- displayconfig-gtk crashed with AttributeError in isXorgConfigChanged() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/179514 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
