Sorry if I lead you in the wrong direction. I'm still not sure that it's a bug you experience. OTOH I'm not using a Japanese keyboard. Possibly someone who does is able to tell if there is more into it when using a keyboard with a hankaku/zenkaku key together with ibus-mozc.
