Thank you for taking the time to report the bug and make Ubuntu better. The latest version of samba in Focal (2:4.13.17~dfsg-0ubuntu0.21.04.2) was uploaded exactly because of a printing issue related to the Windows 2021-10 Monthly Rollup patch. You can see more details about the issue in the bug #1951490.
We were definitely not expecting a regression to happen with that update, though. Could you please provide more information regarding the problems you're experiencing? It would be great if you could attach some of the log files generated by samba before and after upgrading the package to the latest version. Thanks in advance. ** Tags added: server-todo ** Also affects: samba (Ubuntu Focal) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: samba (Ubuntu Focal) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: samba (Ubuntu Focal) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1969654 Title: Can't print with Samba via Windows 10 printer after 2:4.13.17~dfsg-0ubuntu0.21.04.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1969654/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
