Tried yesterday the alternate CD. It took ages to load, but it seemed to work, until it reached the point where it tried to detect the PC hardware. When it reached 75% (or so, I can't remember), it displayed that it was checking for Floppy Drives, and it just frozed there. I waited for more than half an hour, but it was dead.
The floppy drive is in working condition (I checked it under WinXP), but it locked the installation progress. I tried too some other distros (SuSe, Fedora, Knoppix, PcLinuxOS, Mandriva, Damn Small Linux), all of them in LiveCD, and worked OK. I'm really confused... If I can provide any more info, please, update this bug report. :) -- Xubuntu LiveCD doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178615 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
