Public bug reported: Greetings,
~ 2022-05-07 13:59 odoncaoa@TUFfx705DU2204[7]$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Release: 22.04 ~ 2022-05-07 14:00 odoncaoa@TUFfx705DU2204[8]$ apt-cache policy 'ubuntu-advantage-tools' ubuntu-advantage-tools: Installed: 27.8~22.04.1 Candidate: 27.8~22.04.1 Version table: *** 27.8~22.04.1 500 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu jammy-updates/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 27.7~22.04.1 500 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu jammy/main amd64 Packages Last eve I tracked down, installed a different 'file mgr' to replace 'write'/nautilus. I then incorporated the 'Thunar' File mgr as the default. I also was making efforts to swap 'Caps_Lock' w/'Control_L' keys within Bash. The swap mostly went well, but the 'Caps_Lock' button, now assigned w/'Control_L' is a bit buggered. The swap was made, but it also inhereted 'Escape'. ~ 2022-05-07 13:35 odoncaoa@TUFfx705DU2204[9]$ xmodmap xmodmap: up to 4 keys per modifier, (keycodes in parentheses): shift Shift_L (0x32), Shift_R (0x3e) lock Caps_Lock (0x9), Caps_Lock (0x25) control Control_L (0x42), Control_R (0x69) mod1 Alt_L (0x40), Alt_R (0x6c), Meta_L (0xcd) mod2 Num_Lock (0x4d) mod3 mod4 Super_L (0x85), Super_R (0x86), Super_L (0xce), Hyper_L (0xcf) mod5 ISO_Level3_Shift (0x5c), Mode_switch (0xcb) This morning I booted from recovery mode in order to see if it would fix the broken 'snap' functionality, as well; which seems to have not happened. I proceeded to do: odoncaoa@TUFfx705DU2204[10]$ sudo apt update, and then: ~ 2022-05-07 13:21 odoncaoa@TUFfx705DU2204[11]$ apt list --upgradable Listing... Also, 'dpkg' seems to become inoperable on various operations, in cause by a bad 'snap'.
