Can you please explain what problems you experienced as a result of this
bug? My previous understanding was that there was no real effect, and
just a failed udev rule (which should not be running anyways) and noise
in the logs.

To work around this for the time being, you can simply remove the
offending udev rule:

# rm /lib/udev/rules.d/66-snapd-autoimport.rules
