Okay I think I've fixed it... so here is what I did in the finish * I downloaded firefox-99.0.1.tar.bz2 * I extracted it on my desktop * I opened Terminal and navigated to my desktop * I then used Firefox to look at More Troubleshooting Information to see where my Firefox was installed * I then used RSYNC -av to merge the new Firefox with the old and now I have 99.0.1 with all my bookmarks/logins intact
Perhaps not the best way to do things but it works. Now we'll see if I still get the update spam or not... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1970492 Title: Firefox update pushing me to update to 91.0.1 when I am on 91.0.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1970492/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
