That's right, this becomes quite visible with Extension settings as they can be quite lengthy and the default window size it often too small. I am not sure I agree with the design choice but I believe that this is outside of the scope of this bug report so I'm happy for this report to be closed since the system behaves as intended. I will leave it to you and the design team to decide if you want to revisit this design choise in the future or not.
