Public bug reported: Description: When ubuntu-dock is set to autohide and in hidden state (happens on panel and dock mode) When you go to right-click an icon to access its menu, the dock hides again and the menu stays open but when you click it the menu updates its position to be closer to the dock, leading to miss clicks and a worse user experience.
What should happen: The dock should stay visible while you interact with the menu. Replicate it: Set your dock to autohide and then, trigger the autohide (like maximizing a window), reach for one of the icons and right-click it.
