Public bug reported:
Beginning in nvidia-driver-510, the driver does not recognize changes to
nvidia-prime without a reboot so the driver can be reloaded in the
initramfs. To accommodate this, plasma-optimus needs to reboot the
system when a new prime mode is selected.
