There's honestly not that much to describe. The second I boot either the 22.04 or 21.10 iso and enter the live session, the clock is just missing from the indicator/panel. However, I can still click where the clock is supposed to be and then the calendar pops up. However, there is no clock shown, just a tiny space where the time is supposed to be.
I even tried disabling and removing it from the panel and then apt purging the ayatana-indicator-datetime package, and reinstalling, to no effect. Enabling the "Show Seconds" option in the indicator control panel, will show the time, however, it's followed by a bunch of random numbers, e.g. Hour:Minute:XXXXXXXXXXXXX. Disabling the option, removes the time from the indicator again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1963830 Title: No time/clock on panel (ayatana indicators) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ayatana-indicator-datetime/+bug/1963830/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
