As per https://github.com/opensvc/multipath-
tools/issues/26#issuecomment-1073987528, upstream decided to not apply
the patch to force weak symbols not to be resolved at link time.

Therefore, instead of carrying a patch, let's just keep compiling
without the "-Bsymbolic-functions" flag to maintain the upstream desired
behavior.
