Public bug reported: Libhandy apps in 22.04 are incorrectly dark-themed - they default to dark adwaita rather than pocillo when the slim variants are used.
It is because libhandy assumes dark & light variants have the suffix "-dark" and "-light" respectively. In Pocillo the convention is Pocillo-dark-slim and Pocillo-light-slim. We will have to adjust the theme name convention to "Pocillo-size- color". Whilst this will 'break' upgraders - this is a small issue since users can easily choose the changed name in budgie-desktop-settings. NOTE: the diff on this will look scary simply because the name change looks like lots of stuff has been deleted and lots of stuff is new. The change is simply the name of the two folders Pocillo-dark-slim --> Pocillo-slim-dark Pocillo-light-slim --> Pocillo-slim-light ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 22.04 Package: ubuntu-budgie-themes 0.14.3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.15.0-23.23-generic 5.15.27 Uname: Linux 5.15.0-23-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu79 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: pass CurrentDesktop: Budgie:GNOME Date: Wed Mar 30 11:37:01 2022 InstallationDate: Installed on 2022-01-29 (59 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-Budgie 22.04 LTS "Jammy Jellyfish" - Alpha amd64 (20220129) PackageArchitecture: all SourcePackage: budgie-artwork UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: budgie-artwork (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: fossfreedom (fossfreedom) Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug jammy third-party-packages ** Changed in: budgie-artwork (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: budgie-artwork (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => fossfreedom (fossfreedom) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1967110 Title: libhandy based apps are incorrectly themed with pocillo slim variants To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/budgie-artwork/+bug/1967110/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
