I also have the same problem on release 18.04 after kernel upgrade: uvcvideo: Failed to query (GET_DEF) UVC control 2 on unit 1: -32 (exp. 1) The cam had worked before.
Also 2 threads are started: uvcdynctrl -d /dev/video0 --addctrl=1b3f:2247 Both threads consume 100% CPU load. I'm not quite sure if this was caused by a kernel update. This also might be caused by an uvcvideo kernel driver update, or at least by a graphic driver update. Any hints are welcome. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1962223 Title: uvcvideo Failed to query (GET_DEF) UVC control 2 on unit 1: -32 (exp. 1) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-meta-hwe-5.13/+bug/1962223/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
