The bug was closed as Incomplete, which I understand, and there is also this bug which I was informed about:

I may even go more minimal with fluxbuntu since this laptop has only 256 MB RAM. Actually, Windows reports 224 MB with their tool. Thanks for the help and concern. Since the LiveCD was TERRIBLY slow, I don't know how long it would even take to get the info from the logs and error files.
