It is clear that these buttons are acting on the value stored in /sys/class/backlight/nvidia_0/brightness, but has no effect on the actual brightness. However, modifying manually the value in /sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl0/brightness changes the actual brightness. + + Troubleshooting attempts + ------------------------ + + If I downgrade the nvidia dirver from 510 to 470, controlling brightness + works fine.
