I'm not sure whether the problem is with installing chromium, or whether
the browser crashed while using it?
If the former, I'd advise trying to reinstall:
sudo apt reinstall chromium-browser
If the latter, are you observing the crash regularly? Is it still
happening with the latest update in the stable channel?
