I just tested it on a laptop with intel graphics, and sound and playback is perfectly normal on 60Hz when playing through the HDMI (playing on the television). Same cable, same television - only connected to my laptop instead. This makes me wonder whether this could be an issue in the kernel driver, amdgpu?
