The only evidence of an nvidia driver provided in this bug report is
nvidia-installer.log.txt which shows 367.48 was installed in 2016, and
the bug tag 'possible-manual-nvidia-install'. Both of which indicate an
unsupported driver was installed. I'm just going on the facts provided.
Anyway it sounds like the problem is solved based on your last comment.
