Hi Mario, Could you share the command to verify? A quick cross-check, the file in ~/cache/fwupd/remotes.d/lvfs is the same if I compare the one downloaded by plasma-discover and "fwupdmgr refresh"
One more thing, it looks like the backends/FwupdBackend/FwupdBackend.cpp has been through lots of re-factoring. Mind have a look at the source code for the one used in focal.
