This also worked for me. I placed an automatic apt install as part of my github repository for the systemd-zram script for installation. It took me a long time to find this solution. I hope that any other repositories that install zram will take heed of this.
I have found that this makes Ubuntu practical for running on a Raspberry Pi 4 with 8 GB or RAM. It prevents hanging when running a large number of processes or having many open tabs in a browser. I now have 2 of my 3 PI4s with 8GB running Ubuntu 21.10. For inexplicable reasons (firmware) the first PI 4 with 8GB will run Ubuntu 20.10, but will not successfully upgrade or boot after a fresh install of the 21.04 or 21.10 OS. Any suggestions welcome (Yes, I need to post this as a separate question). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1947697 Title: no longer works after upgrade to 21.10 (raspberry pi 4) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zram-config/+bug/1947697/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
