where upstream comments: "ZeroMQ is not a critical feature but optional and disabled per default anyway". In Debian most recent libzeromq-perl is: libzeromq-perl | 0.23-1 | oldoldoldstable | source and indeed it was remove from testing in 2012 [1]. I agree the Suggests on missing packages should be dropped, but the change isn't really worth a delta in Ubuntu. I'm lowering the Importance of this bug to Wishlist.
