Sound is not working for me after Hibernate. It has worked flawlessly on
Edgy and Feisty. My laptop is a ITAUTEC W7630. Outside Brazil, this
notebook has diverse brands (EVEREX, etc). It's manufactured by FIC
(http://www.fic.com.tw/product/notebooks.htm) for many brands.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ uname -a
Linux effenberg-mobile 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Tue Dec 18 08:02:57 UTC 2007
i686 GNU/Linux

Setting "HIBERNATE_MODE=platform" at /etc/default/acpi-support also
won't work.

Resuming to Ram (SUSPEND) and resuming gets me sound back ok.

However, resuming from Suspend has other issues (not related to sound thou):
- CPU cooler always on at full speed after resume from suspend, never at this
speed when using PC normally..
- Network-Manager forgets Wi-Fi pasword, although it has it on the keyring.
Have to enter it manually.
- Touchpad gets ultra-sensible, making it unusable to type in the laptop.

I have attached some information, as suggested in a post above:
sudo lspci -vv > lscpi_-vv.txt
sudo lspci -vvn > lscpi_-vvn.txt
sudo dmidecode > dmidecode.txt

Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Regards,
Effenberg
