Public bug reported:

https://github.com/koalaman/shellcheck/commit/fbc8d2cb2f8070f820c9337851bb97478e40e710

is a fix for a regression in 0.7.2 release

Imho either we should stick with current shellcheck or package a newer
snapshot / cherry-picks of fixes?
